He has an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and a post graduate diploma in Operations management, which has contributed to his proficiency in Business operations involving feasibility studies, enquiry generation, techno-commercial discussion, tendering, order execution, collection of receivables and rendering after-sales service Jayachandra has extensive experience in Production Management, Greenfield projects, Brown field projects, Project Engineering consultancy and interfacing, Material handling systems and solar power products and projects

Prior to founding Jarka Renewables, Jayachandra was in the management role in multiple global organizations. He served as the Head-Rooftop and Distributed Solar Systems at Sterling and Wilson Solar Limited, Chief Projects Manager at Webb India and Dy. General manager - Projects at Tata Power Solar Systems. He has also been a Director of a Technical & Management institute in Bangalore and consulting expert on various Field & Utility Engineering programs.

Kumar is a Solar Industry veteran with 32+ years of experience in design and development of Solar products and services. Kumar's journey began when Solar was seen as "Lanterns and streetlights". Grew with the Technology and Industry, soon rose to a leadership role based on skill development and knowledge base acquired by intense training and process mechanisms

Under Kumar's leadership, the reporting teams have delivered over 650+ MW of solar PV power plants and rooftop projects and demonstrated ability in starting up new operations, business development, building alliances, developing solar projects on non-recourse finance, EPC contracting, cost control measures and monitoring performance and selection of right technology

Kumar's stellar performance coupled with quality consciousness, cost effectiveness, delivery commitment, honesty and integrity has been honed working for some of the biggest brands in the industry in a leadership position. Head-Engineering & Operations of SunEdison India, Head-EPC business development at Panasonic, Head-Solar power project at AEG Power solutions, Head-Solar Projects at Reliance and Manager-Project Execution at Tata BP Solar are some of the roles that Kumar has served before cofounding Jarka Renewables.

Sohrab Kakalia has 30 years of progressive experience in engineering high impact scien tific solutions and commercializing them. He has degrees in Physics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and Computer science which allows him to couple to his passion for scientific solutions with a means to deliver them. Sohrab pursued to get his General Management and Finance certification from Harvard.

Over the last 15 years Sohrab has invested and worked in the power engineering space, from electrification and commissioning of large commercial factories to building custom power platforms for managing emerging new power technologies in the areas of solar, complex batteries, fuel cells and compressed air.

Sohrab is the CEO of Radiance Power Systems Pte Ltd., and hold advisory positions in Thrive Solar, Infrrd, Altergy, Enquero and Wellwrap. Sohrab was also part of the Syquest founding team which was acquired by Seagate in 1994 He has worked in 14 countries across all continents and is responsible for the Joint Ventures and partnerships of Radiance for Engineering, manufacturing, technology tie-ups and governmental compliance. Over the last decade Sohrab has been an advisor to 2 global battery manufacturing companies, bringing new industrial grade battery technology to the market.
